Seriously, I’ve learned a huge amount here as I have tried to upgrade my decades-old film camera knowledge to the modern world of digital photography, and I thank everyone from whom I have gleaned bits of knowledge whether they are aware of it or not. This is because she has her phone with her all the time and it is a very capable device for everything except professional use, while I rarely have one of my M cameras with me at the critical moments despite its compact size, and when I do, I am usually futzing around with lenses, lens caps, etc, while she captures the moment. Oh, I know what it is: My wife, with her new iPhone 14 Pro, seems to take more and better pictures than I do.
It has been said that “3 strikes and you are out”, so I’m now wary of what the 3rd item will be. First, the camera system that I chose a couple years ago when I decided to get back into photography (EOS-M) seems to be on the road to extinction, and NOW the place that I have come to rely upon for learning more about that camera system and digital photography is also folding.
